Let’s build a time machine and send them to 19th century London. They’ll love it.
Who cares though? Two consenting adults had sex. Big fucking deal. It’s none of their employers’ or co-workers’ business. That’s a dumb reason to fire anyone. I was totally on board with Shonda firing Isaiah Washington for being a homophobic ass and Heigl for being an unprofessional jerk but firing Dempsey for…
It’s still pretty funny to imagine a person getting fired from Grey’s for hooking up with an intern.
God how I wish that married intern was me....
I BIND YOU, SONY, FROM DOING HARM. HARM AGAINST OUR TEENAGE SELVES AND HARM AGAINST YOURSELF.
Imagine if the boys should show up to prom with backless tuxes and cutouts in protest?
even some of our male students, who had some serious concerns
Mine doesn’t even care what he looks like - she’s blind. She’s just like “Whee! That feels good!” or “What the hell are you even doing ouch stop that just hand me back over to Kinsey she’s better at this than you are sheesh.”
That’s why he’s such an awful fucking writer. His plots are contrived, his dialog is stilted,…
I’m sure some doulas cater exclusively to annoying crunchy rich people, but most of the doulas I know have very reasonable rates and specifically make their services available to women from all walks of life. My local hospital has a huge network of volunteer doulas that anyone can have present at their birth for free.…
I thought the same thing. She sounds genuine and focused and even a little humbled & contrite. She sounds like she’s really trying to make an honest go of her new life. Good for her. It’s nice to see someone take that second chance & do something decent with it. God knows, not everyone does .(Lindsay!)
Good for her.
My best friend’s little sister was an alcoholic MESS a few years ago. She literally drank herself into a coma more than once, spent a few trips in the hospital trying to recover from drinking so much she stroked out in her mid 20s. All of her friends were alcoholics, she couldn’t keep a job, she almost died.
As someone else who has used the 12 step approach for their own recovery I have to say that I agree with her the steps change your life for the better. Good for her! And I wonder if she still speaks with her mother? “Pretty Wild” was guilty pleasure viewing for me when it was on and the mom seemed like the worst kind…
It sounds like she grew up and is acknowledging she had to change her life.
Snark aside, this young woman sounds like she’s truly got her shit together. I’m actually really impressed by her, and I think she should be really proud of herself the way she seems to have grown up and is using the skills that she learned through therapy and rehab to improve her life and the lives of others.
I would hate to be forever judged for life decisions I made at age 18.
That’s what I was thinking. Also, I’ve never birthed a child before or anything, but I definitely think it can’t hurt to have more (educated) people advocating for mothers who are pressured into having c-sections. So, good for her.
Agreed. This feels unfairly snarky about someone who has turned her life around.
