Okay, but the point still stands. Women don’t “become gay” because they aren’t hot enough for a man. I feel that’s an offensive stance. I’m not trying to speak for everyone, and I never made that claim of speaking for every living soul in the first place.

That’s not what I meant. What I mean is those choices aren’t made because a woman is unattractive. They are made because they are part of that person’s identity and their intrinsic selves, not because they can’t get a date with a man.

Which leads me to believe, and I know this is not conclusive, that being attracted to same sex, opposite sex, or both sexes is entirely subjective depending on the make-up…

Again, you have missed the point. There are many kinds of weapons, but guns need regulation because they are so very good at killing things and killing things quickly. That’s the point. Saying, “But there are lots of things that kill people and we don’t regulate them” overlooks that important and salient point.

It wouldn’t hurt anything to run your head through the wall, clearly.

But, if he’d had an ax, he could have arguably been stopped from killing more than one, if that. That’s the whole thing with guns. It’s super easy to kill bunches of people really fast.

Except for the part where, if the mentally ill person can only get their hands on a club, there’s a better chance of disarming them and keeping them from killing multiple people.
