Damn that was a fucking fantastic closing line! Well done.

Don’t worry, the auto industry did market research and determined that ‘most’ people prefer buying the look of low-profile tires. Thus, partly in effort to save costs/increase profit, they force everyone to ‘prefer’ low profile tires if by ‘force’ you accept the premise of buying a new car as a necessity.
No, it doesn’t. It does allow for more/less RPM depending on the power demand but if you give it 40 - 60% throttle and hold it steady to accelerate at a moderate pace (i.e. from a light or on an on-ramp) it is just terrible. I don’t think it is programming either. I think it is just inherent in the hardware. Perhaps…
Same here. Her car just reinforce why I made that decision.
Not true. My GF has a 2014 Accord with a CVT and there is nothing ‘smooth’ about how terrible it is at finding what ratio it should use. The thing jerks and surges like there is literally a rubber band between the engine and drive wheels. It’s terrible.
“15277cc”? Sure, that’s not unusual if you are talking about race cars from the era like the Beast of Turin...
After all of that, I expected to read:
As the original owner of a 2006 STi, I feel like the quality didn’t suddenly become an issue and they have always sort of just sucked at building nice things.
Incidentally, does anyone have a LF corner marker lamp (OE) for sale? Some dick broke mine in a parking garage two weeks ago.
I’ll give you the fact that the pop-ups are awesome. As a current owner of the family 4th gen, EX, 5MT, 4-door, I must remain partial to the 93.
As an early Accord owner, I feel left out of this argument...
I actually said it like I think there is a solid argument to made that this is a realistic outcome. If I knew things enough to guarantee them, I would already be retired, living off of my investments.
This is old news. It was the ONLY reason Tesla ever operated in or near black during the early years. This story just feels like recycling. IMO, it’s all the more reason Tesla will eventually decay to nothing when major automakers start producing more EV options. Tesla will loose both market share AND the ability to…
Honestly, that is a pretty funny comment either way, isn’t it?
A: Nothing. Just come help me get a 1250 or 1400 CC bike engine in my 124 Spider. It’s been mothballed for way too long.
2nd Gear: I wonder if the 7% uptick in claims is due to the small faction of people who would attempt to make repairs on their own but don’t have the ability to do so with aluminum bodies. So, they make claims they otherwise wouldn’t.
It’s really hard to take anyone serious when they call others dickheads for not having a similar opinion as their own. I hope you realize that people like you are the cause of division. Also, a problem: people that think progress is good, in and of itself.
This is one of the more plausible arguments made (also supported with at least some survey data) and I’m buying it. Advertising works and social media is just a newer and much more effective version. Of course the generation that uses social media more would be influenced by it in larger numbers.
And everyone acts like I’m a dick for saying automatic transmissions suck.
I’m not sure if humor was your goal, but you got me with ‘A year from now,...’. I’ve already seen an ad or two in NC.
