I don’t believe that most buyers realize how many cars share parts and platforms. As an example, I recently learned at a crap can race that Kia uses(ed?) a Mazda engine in some cars and that the ‘Kia’ version is cheap as hell at the junk yard because people don’t generally know this. So one of our competitor teams was

To be clear, I’m not apologizing for what VW did...

Good grief, we are doomed... There isn’t a day that goes by without a potential head on collision being avoided by me because some ass-hat is looking down at a cell phone. Now I have to watch out for sudden stops and mindless driving in parking lots too?

I love the idea of this car. I’m a little partial becuase I have a 78 124 Spider crap can I race. One thing though: This thing sounds like it has an 85 lb flywheel. That is the slowest throttle response/rpm drop I’ve heard on an engine that doesn’t ignite fuel with compression.

I love these cars, but what that clown did to it before wrecking it into a house is a tragedy. RIP poor, abused, ugly-ass Supra.

Yay for picking winners!!

That’s true... However, the good news is that if Big Jim keeps screwing people and guys like Doug write about it, word gets out and people might stop going to see Big Jim. Eventually, Big Jim might go out of business (or change his ways) for his shady practices when people go to see his competitor Big Slim. Who is the

Doug... seriously. How is a government controlled entity any more trustworthy and reliable than privately controlled one? Aren’t they both made up of people? And aren’t people generally going to act differently when power/influence/control are provided to them, regardless of whether they work for Big Jim or the

I’m sorry. I didn’t realize that not quoting times in Greenwich Mean Time would offend people around here. My most sincere apology.

Congratulations, you have won the internet for today! - and it’s only 9:30am

This really does sound like a nice step towards a competitive electric car.

always reminds me of this...

A friend of mine at work brought his W123 wagon in and parked it next to some company issued pickups...

I have to be honest... I don’t feel bad for the guy that ate shit in the guard rail. The car he was tailgating didn’t move over because there was another car merging on the on-ramp. The whole reason there is a rule to keep people from following to close is because of slow human reaction time and poor driving skill. I
