Bought my 500 brand new in 2014 & it has been incredibly reliable. 87k miles & it just needed it’s 2nd repair...an o-ring that needed replaced that was causing an oil leak. The first was a shifter cable that broke at about 70k. Grand total in repairs was well below $1000. Not sure where this reputation for reliability…

Yeah, my 03 A6 had the single pop-out cupholder on the dash. Only problem with it was that the damn faceplate with the picture of the cup on it fell off. A little super glue fixed that issue.
