All fast food is basically garbage food. But there are tiers to the garbage. And TB is less garbage than BK.

I once bought gas from a Marathon Gas Station, and probably picked up some beef jerkey as well (for the protein).

A noble post, embiggens the smallest blog.

I feel embigenned just having read the article

This post contains the requisite amount of Simpsons references. Well done sir. A cromulent job all around.

I do think it would be interesting to see one of these projects taken past the point of restoring it to workable condition. It doesn’t sound like he’s really gotten into the engine and drivetrain yet, so depending on what he finds this one might not be the ideal candidate. But it would be interesting for the challenge

This is why I come here. No matter what kind of car gets you going, someone from a forum somewhere will come here to share your story.

I remember when his dad was active on the Fiero forum back in the day. Good dude, and he took great pride in that car. Last post I saw of his was talking about selling it off because he couldn’t enjoy it anymore and how it didn’t need to just sit.

Toyota's actually been doing this for quite a while now.

How is buying something with worse-than-average depreciation a smart move?

There are things to criticize about the current FIRE movement, but this is not one of them. Americans love to spend money so this will never ever happen outside of cataclysmic events (in which case things are already fucked).  Even the recession didn’t bring up Americans’ savings rates by more than a few percentages

Maybe you job-share with someone and only work 2-3 days a week. Companies would also have to properly train their staff or otherwise provide significant benefits to keep

You’re not wrong, but if I want to go anywhere that requires a lot of driving then it becomes an issue. Also, aren’t house chargers expensive to install for the ones that don’t suck?

Plus it was so much cheaper to travel in my youth when I didn’t mind sharing a room with strangers and showering in places while wearing flip flips. Or sleeping on a friends sofa. Now I want to stay in nice places and eat nice meals and maybe I’ll just take an uber because it’s raining and don’t really want to lug my

Finally, a video that belongs on Deadspin.

I’m slightly ashamed to say that I thought Ron Baker was the better pro prospect when they were at Wichita State together.

Wonderfully executed commentary on the human condition. Ensure you stay after the closing card for the artist’s true closing statement.

I live in an apartment in the burbs, 5 minutes from most any type of restaurant I can think of as well as a strip of bustling craft breweries and shops.
I like being able to actually drive my car, pay for a two bedroom apartment without bankrupting myself, outstretch my arms on a street without smacking into people,

Plus 93.9% of other new cars in the ‘affordable’ category [i.e not over $25-30K]
