Lost it at “BYPASS EVERYTHING”. I’m actually crying at work.

You know - my maternal grandpa - who I never met - sat my mom down when she was 7 in the early sixties and told her “you have to work hard in school and go to college so you can avoid being poor like we are.”

I only needed one tick box, FCA build quality.

Modern chains are pretty much maintenance free, changing your oil is the maintenance. The chain itself pretty much never fails, failures are usually guides or tensioners. Usually failures are from not changing your oil.

Harsh advice for a 7 year old, but good on your mom for listening and following through.

It’s a business that is now completely obsolete. He was trained as a printer, but started his own rubber stamp business. He made rubber stamps for all of the major companies in his city at one point. He sold it to one of his employees when he retired (late 70s) and it was out of business within 15 years.

But apparently I’d hit too close to home, because he turned his back to me, the back of his head literally an inch from my face.

For a brief shining moment (actually about two months) a few years ago a Whole Foods here in Manhattan had these 2-kg wheels of triple-crème brie for like $10. It must have been some huge inventory/pricing mistake, but I’ve never been happier. You know the “Oprah/BEES!” gif? That was me when people would stop by, but

Load stopper seems more practical than say a clunky bed extender, but 100% agree the step system is for old guys (who probably aren’t going to use the bed as much as they think they will).

Kraft: Heya pal! Long time! I see you’ve got a baby.

They’re signing Cromartie?

Happy wife, happy life!

Brakes. They really are a simple system and once you know how you can do them at home with good parts for 1/3 of what you would pay someone. Plus you know how to clean them each spring (if you live in the snow belt) to give them that like new feeling and keep them going strong. I love that nice, high, responsive brake
