Yep - this exactly. At my company, if you have used your phone for encrypted company email it WILL be wiped remotely. I would imagine a similar command will come down on your laptop.

Your ashes aren’t any more damaging to the environment than any other burned bones - fairly acidic which will kill plants in the short term if too concentrated. But, if you bury them they will be pretty damn innocuous.
