My nearest Ikea is 150+ miles away so it’s not exactly a ‘swing by’ store. Before my youngest was born, we needed a bunch of furniture to finish out the boys’ room and be ready. So one Friday after work, with picking list in hand, I drove straight up, ran through the warehouse side loading up a cart, and then used

Again...It’s my alt/burner.  But thanks for outing me, jerk!

That’s my alt - but thanks for outing me, jerk.

Username checks out....

Yep, the guts of these trucks were the same basic setup (short of disc brakes) from 1965 to 1979.

Even that, these trucks are topping out at $15,000 in really good condition on the open market. I’m working on a ‘66 F100 and have to pay very close attention to my spend on the work because I will end up upside down in a huge way on the truck if I’m not careful (and this is a truck that has sentimental value as well).

Because it’s fucking near water.

As they say, it’s like making love in a canoe...

List fails without Flagpole Sitter - probably the most ubiquitous one-hit-wonder of the 90's.

We will definitely be doing this.  So much comes wrapped in plastic inside a cardboard box and I’m sick of trashing the plastic film/wrap.  Thank you!

Also works well in protein shakes as well - I do half almond milk and half leftover coffee with chocolate plant-based protein powder.  Anything to add flavor that isn’t also chalky.

We do the same thing with “The Farmer and the Dell”

Now I want to know if rotor sail equipped sub-hunting boats are possible - no engine, maybe even solar collected power for basic systems.

Yep - I’m in Kansas and used to work as a farm hand during the summers for harvest and then tilling the ground. Long days (7AM to 9PM if it didn’t rain) but the money added up quickly. As long as the radio and the AC worked, the days weren’t usually too hard.

I can tell you that map is not accurate.  I’ve got them in my front yard bushes in Wichita, KS.  The wife found one dead a week ago.

I’ve been through what I think was one of these in Overland Park, KS. Jarring is definitely the word for the first time through, especially as it was at rush hour and after sunset with the world darkening quickly.

Nope, Raph.  Europe already got this right a while ago: GTI Golf.

yeah - tell me about it. I bought an S6 THREE WEEKS before the S7 and waterproofing hit and became the norm.

Next up:

Speaking as the pastiest of white people - that is the whitest thing I’ve seen since Peggy Hill’s competitive Boggle match.
