Fav Skillet - T-Fal Professional nonstick. It’s the one they always use on ATK and it had done really well for me for the two plus years I’ve used it.

I can tell you as a parent of small children that the next two weeks will suck as everyone squares their schedules back up. I’m with you that I like having DST - it’s the switching that sucks. If we could just stick with one or the other, I’d make it work.

I was going to comment on scary things with the trite “12 missed calls from Mom, text from wife/girlfriend of ‘we need to talk’” and other half-jokes like that.

We register our mileage the old fashioned way in Rods per Hogshead, dagnabit.

Any steps that do not include this sound suspicious to me:

Came down here to say this exactly. You want camping store - REI or MEC (the Canadian version) are the places. You want hunting and fishing AND camping, Cabela’s, Gander Mountain, and Bass Pro (which two of the three are now Bass Pro).

Here’s my two cents as a guy rebuilding an old truck (60's Ford). Very little of this stuff is necessary on it’s own, but due to fuel standards, safety requirements, and crash testing there have been design decisions made by car makers everywhere that start to make some of these ‘features’ more advantageous.

Now playing

Lance Stephenson: “Hold my gatorade. Just got a challenger to the throne here that I need to depose.”

Okay - let’s drop you in a boreal forest without gear in the winter and see if it’s shame or -30F temps that kill you. A crude shelter will keep you going for a bit without any gear but in the conditions shown in the movie you probably have less than 72 hours to either find equipment, help, or substantial shelter

I will not have you speak of Danny Amendola that way, good sir.

Why do people die in the wilderness?

I’m sure he insists on ‘Champ’.

You owe me a new fucking keyboard...

I for one am glad. I understand the novelty, but it always creates a break for me where it ends up distracting from the scene. Just personal preference, though, but I’ve never liked it in any move later than the 90's.

Came here to say this exactly. My wife’s Lexus SUV (shutup, don’t judge) came out of the dealer service - low mileage so still could be sold back to be a CPO - with a ‘you need new brake pads’. $385 per axle to change. THE PARTS ARE $66 for Wagner ThermoQuiet for all four wheels total. The job took an hour and a half

I’m not an expert, but I think you have to depreciate your office over a number of years. For buildings, it could be a very extended write off - I’ve read as much as 40 years for buildings.

Make sure you remember as a freelancer to file quarterly estimated taxes as well. The first year you freelance or are self employed you don’t have to file those but that exemption goes away your second year. I don’t want anyone getting hit with penalties on this. I think the first filing for first quarter 2018 is due

And yet he’s in the HOF because he was BRAVE enough to draft Peyton Manning. Truly, Bill Polian represents the best among us.
