These are not just for breakfast - a good frittata with a salad and a glass of wine is a wonderful dinner that takes one skillet and about 20 minutes.

I’ve written about it on this site before, but the worst case of food poisoning/gastro-infection/ongoing discomfort came from Arby’s. I literally lost 12 pounds in four days, ended up with colitis from an inflamed colon, and had to have two liters of fluid intravenously. I missed two days of work and barely recovered

+1 Weeping Chris Paul in a Storm Drain

I don’t know why, but I’m imagining the Beef Horn sound to just be snippets of Roseanne Barr’s Star Spangled Banner sliced together and set to oscillating volumes.

+1 colitis-inducing visit to ‘The Meats’ to you, sir. Sickest I’ve ever been...never again.

Yes, please can we make this a thing that is the standard approach from here forward?

Ping David Tracy about it - but move to Kansas. Real estate is less than half. I’m in Wichita and my commute is 2.5 miles. We get 300+ days of sunshine a year and no real snow and ice. Good restaurant and bar scene and a growing university as well. Brand new airport terminal as well, so flying in and out to get to

I was wondering if there was a recipe or two to help de-mystify some of those ‘ugly’ root vegetables.

I’d give you two stars if I could. Isn’t it hilarious when small government ideals meets ‘sin tax’ possibilities?

I know very little of the business, but what I have heard is that local distributors control their market areas. So it’s on them to get the volume procured, push it to the stores, and then get the inventory there. I would say start pounding your local store owner to get the good stuff through their distributor. Two of these are truly remarkable to me - the coal fire and the dictation. While our commercial dictation is spotty, there is an area where dictation is continuing to improve and be viewed as critical: the medical field. Almost every physician’s note after every procedure is dictated through a system/application. The

Between the hurricanes this summer and this ice storm, I feel like we’ve killed more cars this year than Cash for Clunkers.

I don’t know about $30, but I can find Weller’s every day in SC Kansas in 1.75 sizes for about $38. I’ve noticed, however, that distributors east of the Mississippi don’t seem to be either getting enough, or getting enough out. On a recent trip to Orlando, there was not a single bottle of Weller’s or Buffalo Trace to

Buffalo Trace is my favorite bourbon, but I’ve enjoyed Tin Cup ‘American Wiskey’ recently. It’s a Rye that’s got some good flavor with it. The bottle is very unique and it’s an overall reasonable buy. I’ve found 1.75's for $39 on sale locally. Might be worth a look if you have it in your area.

Close - looks more like the kid from a Christmas Story gone to seed.

I don’t know why, but I think that these shirts only belong on guys like Weird Al or Heywood Banks and then only on stage.

Here’s my thoughts - that’s not a Christmas song, per se. It’s just a winter song - much like Walking in a Winter Wonderland. We just hear them in the Christmas rotation, for some reason.

This is perfectly timed for me - thank you! I just saw that notice yesterday and was thinking that I needed to figure out a way around this.

Yes, people do hunt some big game with handguns but it’s not very popular. About the only real reason to carry one of these is if you are in Grizzly Bear/Polar Bear country for protection. Otherwise, the previous poster is right that the allure is the ‘biggest goddamn gun you can buy’ type of thing.
