I’d like to see that and a hot toddy recipe through sous vide as well. I’d love to see if I could extract more spices and flavors into a toddy (ginger, star anise, clove) to go with the lemon, honey, bourbon combo I use. There you have it - two booze flavors that might work great with Sous vide.

Meth or cocaine? Thought it was only the finest nose candy for the Donald.

I would imagine that would help immensely - we’re in Kansas, so not much call for separate tires/wheels for the two to three work days a year when there’s the white stuff on the ground. Just means he has to plan ahead and potentially not go anywhere for 36 hours after a winter storm unless he wants to roll the dice.

My BIL got one when they were brand new. Loves it. One thing he’s said, though, is that with the batteries and overall weight distribution that these things are squirrely as hell on ice or anything really slick. I know that’s a silly comment as most cars aren’t very sure-footed on ice but his comment was that it’s

I think many are making a leap hear that doing something like enrolling is the same as endorsing or approving of the ACA. I know many who enrolled because they are self employed, need health insurance, and - and this is key here - it’s the law. Many people object to being forced into the enrollment because their

He had competition but he chose them well without fail. He, or his management, was almost like Belichek in that area where he would take his fights once he had a strategy and parameters that would allow for a fairly well assured win if Floyd put in the prep and the work. That’s a key point here, he always put in the

Very well written, Mr. Farrell. As a Hopkins fan, I couldn’t agree more.

Probably has a bit more to do with something designed and built in the mid 80's and how far we’ve come since then, but that’s conjecture on my part. I think Nuclear is a very viable way forward as are fast breeder type reactors along with Thorium-type systems but I’m only a casual consumer of this information.

The 40 year span is to the first major maintenance interval, not lifespan. That process has the same label as is used in major maintenance intervals for Refining and is called a Turnaround. Many US plants are planning their first one of these now using binders that were put on shelves during the Carter

+1 Pink Locker room.

Wait - more restrictions historically do not equal more options. If there is enough demand and enough technology somebody will innovate a replacement product - plastics made from corn or Soybeans or using carbon fibre instead of plastics for car bodies and dashes.

When I become a grandpa, if my kids give me a 1991 Pontiac Grand Am, I might punch them.

Celebrating my dad’s 61st birthday tonight with family and his grandsons. Just another reminder that tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us and we need to be determined to live our days - all of them, even the shitty ones.

Believe me, I ask myself this question every day. Usually while halfway into a comment on this website...

That is awesome! I have been looking for a decent, vertical day planner format for years to no avail - everything seemed too clunky or just didn’t work. I really like the look of his products. Okay - going to add that to the Christmas list in time for someone that is looking for an idea for me still.

I think that people are waking up to this all over the country. There might be some pockets where people are so starved for attention that they’d do anything to get a pro team (looking at you San Antonio) but they are very much not the norm.

I think the only person who could understand that is the one, the only, Dennis Miller.

Trying to figure out - Texas or Florida?

One word - Deltawing...

Since I have a chest cold now and have been drinking these, how about a hot toddy that includes a way to extract oils from beneficial spices like Cinnamon, ginger, and star anise? Basically, can I make the best hot toddy ever by starting in the AM with a bunch of ingredients that are awesome by the time I get home
