That’s how we’ve done it in my family since my Grandma’s days. Upside down and in a baking bag results in the best, juiciest white meat you’ll find short of deep frying. The problem, as some have alluded to, is that the bird isn’t Norman Rockwell table-presentable. That’s not an issue to us, because it’s damn good.

*Insert Cletus from Simpsons “Shoulda but didna” gif that I can’t find*

That is awful. I’m white, male, midwestern, hetero nerd. I’ve had one ‘fits the description’ situation in my life and it was my car that fit the description.

All I see is someone who skipped leg day, amiright?

I did not know that about Simmons at all. Are you serious? I’m sure we’ll hear about it all year but think about a guy with that ability, that drive, and partner him with Pop as a coach! I love it when the Spurs play well. All I need is Craig Sager back on the sideline and I’m a happy boy.

Do you have any idea how many horrible people work for companies all across this world? She picked her problem as did Subway. The fact that Subway did not ‘divorce’ themselves from him in a way that made her realize the issue is not their problem. It’s not a far jump from your statement to having corporations

Where in Kansas? I grew up with a guy in Wichita who’s dad is from Stuttgart and ran an import mechanics shop for years. Just ran into his dad the other day in Costco as a matter of fact.

Not sure if trolling, so let’s try this. Congress does not equal House of Rep’s. Congress equals House and Senate. The Senate does not pass any law on their own, nor does the House.

Yes - the column reads like a poorly researched opinion for 10th grade civics class.

I was picturing the Steve McQueen baseball bouncing off the walls from The Great Escape, myself. Slowly driving his ‘jailers’ batty.

I feel your pain on yelling Drew. I really do. I was yelled at extensively by my dad as a kid and I swore I would never do that to my kids. So far I’ve done pretty well, but - to quote Jack Palance -“Day ain’t over yet”.

Dude looks like a thumb with tattoos and a hat.

Hi my name is 2Kids and I am a habitual Republican voter.

I think you’re correct - the driving factors in all of this is cost to consumer, function, and convenience. If the cost of oil is too high, they will find another option to decrease those costs. If the functionality is there at a comparable price, people will take that option. If the convenience factor increases

Welp, we’ve had a not so good run, then. Time to wrap this up. Last one out of the non-Big 12 shut off the lights, will ya?

People like that give respectful hunters a bad name every damn year. Sorry you had to deal with a dangerous idiot on your property. If you ever see that vehicle around your property again, call the cops immediately. I would even consider calling your local non-emergency line to them and ask them if you can file any

This exactly. Back in the day my younger brother was dating a girl long distance. They were really close but started to drift apart near the end of college. She wanted to go one direction and wasn’t going that way on his journey. I noticed this and asked him what he was going to do about it. He told me something

Yes - There is barely any slack in the airline system anymore. I’ve had situations where a flight on Thursday evening was cancelled and they couldn’t fly me out again until Sunday morning because everything is so full (and I’m flying from a fairly small airport with limited selection).

I’ve heard that polish method but it never worked for me. Flat ruined a pair of shoes with that because it went on too thick and then just crumbled off in chunks as I wore them the next time. Always had good luck with the cotton ball method, though.

Some old-style straight wool socks can get a bit flabby and bunchy through a day. That’ll rub blisters on your feet quickly. The newer ones are usually a blend and are built to prevent that. Dress socks are usually always thinner and less prone to that bunching in general.
