SNW has reinvigorated my love for the franchise. But, yeah, this latest season of Picard is like the epic, cinematic Star Trek: TNG experience we’ve all been craving since the First Contact movie.

SNW/LD/Prodigy were my favorites of the current crop of Star Trek content, by a far margin.
However, the current season of Picard is fucking amazing, and I wish the first two seasons had been this level of awesome. I am on board if they make ST:Titan series or whatever. Give me more what they’re pumping out, straight…
I say bring back both of them and toss a coin to decide which one is playing Betty in any given scene. Don’t lampshade it though. Don’t acknowledge it at all.
You know what? I have no problem with this.
I, too, think it looks cool. I do hope they pass out for a while.
“Sorry movie fan, no Viggo Mortensen to be found here.”
What on earth is this article? You say it’s steeped in assault allegations and then it turns out to be a throwaway line at the very end where it turns out two (2!%) of the (unnamed) contestants have allegations against them. Is that even higher than the average at all?
It has literally nothing to do with the show, or…
Finally, teenage girls with the power to shoot electricity from their hands come for their corny parents
Maybe, to preserve the timeline, Jurati Borg waited as a subroutine to come out once intended events had passed.
Is this “Morning Spoilers” or “Morning Spiders?”
I don’t know that it was ever strictly confirmed, but it’s the only interpretation that makes any sense to me. The only other interpretation would be that, in the 21st century, Jurati’s Borg took over the main collective, but that would be a HUGE retcon that I don’t think the show is intending.
The Borg Queen situation, as best I undestand it, is this:
Because he showed up first (as Matt) in No Way Home.
Agreed. This is a big one I missed and shouldn’t have. I’m gonna add it!
Wasn’t Ms. Marvel the first time anyone said “mutant” in the MCU? Sounds like a big deal to me.
So...does this mean Mr. Beast did a better job of running a "real" Squid Game than Netflix themselves?
I’ve never heard of him actually being rude to FANS though, you know?
Yep, Bautista is so good it never even occurred to me that he was originally a wrestler. It’s clear he’s doing roles because he finds them interesting rather than doing them because they are a paycheck. I have never been disappointed to see Bautista show up in a movie.
As reductive as it might be to compare wrestlers, my increasing impatience for The Rock has been mirrored by an uptick in patience for Dave Bautista: the latter keeps displaying a more talented, arresting acting presence, and one who appears determined to choose these interesting, surprising parts.
Supposedly Peyton Reed wanted to do an ‘epic’ Marvel film as a change of pace from the smaller stakes, comedic tone of the first two Ant-Man films, and given it will be the first time we see Kang properly, I think it’s a reasonable assumption it will be a bit more serious.
