I grew up living next door to my maternal grandparents. They were wonderful grandparents who were very loving and giving. Throughout my childhood and adolescence I typically went and hung with them five or six times a week.

Doesn’t matter.

It's INITIALLY cheaper than a Honda Civic.

Ok, I get it, you’re jalops and that’s a wagon, and its under $2k so instant NP, right? WRONG! Has a single one of you owned an 88’ Mercury Sable? No you say? We’ve had a few new Q7’s over the past few months. I am not an SUV person, at all, including suburbans and the other 37 suv varieties GM offers. They all suck.

Lol, suburban piece of crap isn’t fun to drive. The Q7 handles like a nimble sedan, despite its size.

This car suffers from the same syndrome as the Porsche Panamera. The are unbelievably ugly in the pictures, but when you see them in person they are way better looking, and in some cases as for the Panamera, even beautiful

Is it really a throwback if it’s never been changed? I think the point of the article is to find small references to things that once were present but have gone away (eg Corvette waterfall, 911 ducktail), not a fundamentally unchanged design (eg LR Defender, Mercedes G Wagon, Jeep Wrangler).
