I’m a huge Stargate fan... of the series (I’ve even written an official novel for them). The movie is flawed, but it’s still a lot of fun for a big scifi epic. It did things no movie has done before or since, really. Just the idea of this big portal to an alien world that looks like ancient Egypt is so amazing to me.
