I’m inclined to choose the smallest wheel size that fits my brakes. I prefer more rubber over more rim.

We solved a lot of the gt4's harshness by dropping a wheel size and filling the gap with more and more lovely soft michelin sidewall. Worked a lot better on track that way too.

I’m surprised that people think this. Cars have to be able to support 3 times their own unladen weight on the roof, so this Passport must support 12,000 pounds to be legal for sale. It can definitely handle a few humans.

I wholeheartedly agree. Toyota axed production of the Supra almost a decade before that, but still raced a JGTC chassis in an enduro w/ hybrid tech on top of it all.

Needs a feature for sure. Wonder where it is today?

Also, SARD has done some crazy stuff in the past, like the MC8R, a stretched V8 MR2.

As body kits go I have certainly been worse, but the problem is you are covering up one of the best, if not the best, styling to come out of the nineties. I will keep my $40,000 and spend it on the best stock example I can find.

G8 GT. You can pick one up for well under budget. The only way to get a manual in the G8 is the GXP, but those are rare, and are priced accordingly. If you don’t need to row your own (it wasn’t mentioned as a requirement), do your budget a favor and “settle” for the GT.
