I know it doesn’t fit the fuel economy and easy to park criteria, but maybe look into another Xterra. They are the perfect urban assault vehicle for the mean streets of Philly.
They’re gonna need a smaller boat!
FFS, just leave your seatbelt on when seated.
I’ve heard of multiple people who use autopilot and then have their laptops open and are working on the drive home. It’s insane.
30+50+ years ago it might have been fun and interesting. Now it’s just desolate and sad.
Jack in the Box is definitely a No-Go for a road trip.

Did the plane “drop” 25,000 feet as the title suggests, or did the plane simply descend 25,000 feet to equalize the cabin pressure, as the actual article suggests?
Cause the title reads like the plane lost pressure and immediately dropped 25,000 feet....which would result in some serious injuries, if not deaths, I…
Any gas station within half a mile of an interstate highway in the south. The incessant smell of pee, pot and gasoline, the humid stickiness of everything you touch, the questionable characters hanging out in the energy-drink bottle littered parking lot, and the cashier barricaded behind milky plexiglass selling lotto…
I am going to say a family member’s house. You’re doing it to be nice because you haven’t seen them in a while or it’s just convenient to visit, maybe for a free place to stay. But they are going to either irritate you or want to talk for way too long and throw off your schedule.
“My Brutal Commute Is Killing My Cars! What Should I Buy?”
One exception: if your car has a stop-start feature and fails to restart. Cars with stop-start and a failing battery may just die in traffic when the battery finally gets too weak to restart the motor. A jump start may get the motor started so you can get it off the side of the road (especially if you can manually…
Nope, not even remotely is that true. Especially when they are breaking the law themselves. Sometimes pedestrians have the right of way, sometimes they don’t. YMMV based on the particulars of local law, of course. But certainly in neither of my states do pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way. If someone walks out…
Generally no - there are traffic regulations for a reason, and you can’t fault someone who didn’t see a pedestrian where a pedestrian was not supposed to be. No way to stop a multi-ton vehicle when someone suddenly steps out in front of you, after all.
Why would the driver ever get arrested for hitting someone who was *jaywalking*?
See, he hasn’t learned yet that the job of the cops is to enforce the law for the Rich not against them. He hasn’t learned how to be a happy little stormtrooper yet. He’ll be fired soon enough if he doesn’t though.
