Well, you see, linking the two would require sensible consumer friendly engineering.  That’s not something Tesla does.

100% correct. If Tayor Swift never used another fossil fuel item the rest of her life (not sure that is actually possible), the difference in CO2 emissions would be immaterial.

The smartest thing the oil companies ever did was to invent the term “Carbon Footprint” and shift the pollution blame to individuals.

And therein lies the rub....she either attempts to fly commercial and turns every airport she enters into a stampeding, screaming shit-show, or she flies private and burns a lot of petrol.  The latter actually seems more sane, more efficient, less dangerous, and far easier for herself and staff.  Meh.

The PT Cruiser. It’s almost there, but I still see a few hanging on for dear life, mostly in the more rural areas. But they’re not collectible. And the few that may have been babied will get sold or passed down as the geriatrics that still cherish them pass on. Give it another 10 years and you’ll never see one.

If I remember the rules right, this is on the boat owner assuming the path was clear when the plane started its takeoff roll / first touched down on the water. It can’t stop, after all, and the boat certainly can change directions much faster (making it the more maneuverable of the two).

Twister was a good sales pitch too.

This is great advice, if we go back in time to the 90's or earlier.
