It’s doable, right? And to be clear, we DO order some things from Amazon that we just can’t get locally at all, like water filters for the fridge. But hell, I even went to BestBuy to get a new charging cable for my phone. Bought it the same day my old one started to fritz out. Best Buy. How have we gotten to the point

Yeah, my husband and I are trying to do this. Buying everything we possibly can from the local grocery store instead of going to Walmart/Target/Amazon. Yeah, we pay a bit more and maybe they don’t have the exact brands we want because they stock a smaller inventory of choices out of necessity, but we’re supporting

We were the same, except we put diapers on “subscribe and save.” Diapers were stolen from our porch. DIapers arrived late. Then we realized we were pretty good at predicting how long a pack of diapers or a can of formula would last, and just bought everything at Costco, a company that objectively does NOT suck.

I watched a couple of episodes, only because it was on while I was cooking or doing other shit.  Crawford has some charisma and Wayans was obviously phoning it in.  From what I saw, I wasn’t compelled to tune in regularly, but though Crawford actually seemed like a guy worth watching.

It was the guy’s biggest shot so far, so if he showed up ready to go and Wayans was just blowing things off (because he’s going to be fine to matter what) then he probably started his day at DefCon 2. Not excusing the behavior, but it sounds like he was upset about a less than supportive costar torpedoing his career.

Personally, I believe him about Wayans. And Id hate it too. But he went way beyond rational response to that.

Not to defend Crawford’s behaviour, but he was the reason to watch the show, quite apart from the fact that Riggs is the main character of Lethal Weapon.

Yeah the really weird thing is that it got picked up for a third season, considering its fairly middling ratings. I’m guessing the name recognition of Lethal Weapon is strong enough for Fox to continue with.

I haven’t invested a lot of time in this since I don’t even watch the show, but I don’t think even they have any hard feelings toward Scott that I’ve seen. I’m sure there’s a couple wackjobs because there always is, but they seem to know he’s just a dude doing a job. They’re pissed about their guy obviously, but

This is the AV Club. If you came here for anything other than hyperbolic, knee-jerk, borderline-tabloid bullshit you’re in the wrong place.

Yeah, not showing up for the job (or, rather, only showing up for the parts you deem absolutely necessary) is disrespectful to everyone else involved. Fuck that nonsense. You aren’t only paid for when the cameras are rolling and you happen to be in frame. Dick.

okay man, you cape for the Academy-worthy acting talents of Mayor Payne. Cool stuff.

If Wayans did skip table reads and faked being sick, I’d understand Crawford’s hostility. I fucking hate slackers at work. And I hate primadonnas even worse, but it looks like it’s a he said / he said thing so, meh. Whatevs.

Damon Wayans is a legend?

Wow. What has Ted Talbot Jr. been smoking these days?

I mean, that’s not really comparing himself to Smith but comparing a situation where the actor playing the main character thinks the show won't survive without him.

So he’s saying Wayans is too old for this shit?

We thank you for your service... and also for you protecting our country.

I spent 13 years on active duty (2x Iraq, 1x Afghanistan), and got out last year. Seeing pictures of Fifth Avenue fuckwits like this playing war tourist eliminates any regret I have about not staying in longer - and makes me feel awful for my friends still in.

Incredibly angry, thanks for asking!

These useless chucklefucks. Just look at this smarmy little dipshit.
