Same! I loved the cliffhanger for its, you know, surprise element (as is befitting a cliffhanger) and for how completely Lexy a move it was. But man oh man that was heartbreaking, as I was really looking forward to seeing more of BR’s Superman esp. in the final battle episodes. I don’t know if he maaaay still show up

I just found this. Looks like they snuck in a little bit more of the DC TV universe in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Showing clips from an episode we just watched is the definition of wasting time.

I like that the CW and Kevin Smith are both into this enough to do an aftershow.

Jon Cryer has unexpectedly become my favorite live action Lex Luthor. He’s not a bemused sitcom character like Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor, and he’s not complex and three-dimensional like Michael Rosenbaum’s Lex Luthor. He’s just very, very smart and very, very evil.

Yea, teen girls still wear crop tops. It'll probably get changed to a full bodysuit in Season 2 or 3 anyway.

Yeah, he actually had some interesting things to say on the Crisis after show, which surprised me because those things are usually dull as dishwater

I like to think Lena did a lot to open Kara’s eyes about the necessity of keeping Kryptonite on hand and how not to take it personally.

Clark trusts Bruce with kryptonite, of course Kara trusts Kate with some.

As soon as Lex appeared at the end, I literally said “Oh, you sonovabitch!” out loud. Well done, Jon Cryer. Well done.

-I’ll never get tired of Kate roughing up Lex on Kara’s behalf.

I love that Jon Cryer heard they were doing Crisis this season and said “I want in!” because Holy Beebo, his Lex Luther is a world class bastard. Seeing Clark vanish and get replaced by Lex was a damn fine bombshell.

The Batman in DKR never killed anyone

It’s not. The Batman in DKR never killed anyone but the Joker. He didn’t intend or need to kill Supes, just kick his ass until he could fake his own death in the process.

*edit*

I just remembered The Joker in DKR killed himself to make it look like Batman did it.

I was basing it off of how he describes Superman, but somebody else actually connected the two quotes for me. It’s the same.

So Conroy’s Batman is basically The Dark Knight Returns Batman.

Yes, I kept thinking that Earth-99 Batman is the Murderverse Batman (rampage kills and all)

  • If we never see another second of the Smallville universe, that was a pretty great scene to end it on. (it was kinda annoying that Iris, Lois and Clark 38 didn’t give him another thought after Lex sent them away)

(and now that the show is off cable, she gets to swear a lot)

So help me, if we have to see Well’s orgasmic reaction to being sucked into the Monitor’s light a fifth time during the crossover itself.... I will lose it.
