It’s complicated and needs proper maintenance. It was never a problem in France where all mechanics are used to Citroëns, but abroad it’s another story.
I found a picture of one of the children on there....
It blew my mind seeing a DS do this on CHiPS when I was a kid.
It just wouldn’t be gentleman racing without a bit of bankruptcy now and then.
“I think of wipers as safety items,”
There is only one right answer, and it’s the VW thing.
Disclaimer: I live in Ohio so I don’t know what a beach car is other than what I saw on TV when I was a kid in the 70's.
With Ford’s racing pedigree, especially around the GT and GT40 name, I can unequivocally say that the “Ford” argument is bullshit. In fact, it is one of the most celebrated cars in racing and the previous car with its insane value now is proof of that.
Undoubtedly. This car was designed solely to win, and produce enough to meet the homologation requirements. It follows in the history of the GT40 (not the Ford GT).
It’s not absurd at all from Ford, because they have twice in Automotive history created a product that bested the best. and if a badge is stopping you from paying what a car is worth.. well then, it’s not for you.
Let’s just address price. This car was designed as a no compromise race car FIRST. Homologated road car second. The price is indicative of that. Goal one was to win class at Le Mans. The car they ended up with while doing that is the one they’ve homologated into a road car that just happens to cost half a million…
Would give you a star but you currently have 69 and I would hate to chsnge that number
8 minutes of hail is nothing. We once had a 45 minute hailstorm in Topeka.
Thankfully it was all pea gravel sized hail.
Coming soon, from Tom:
He was particularly adept at placing a good combination of letters correctly in those words as well.
Work in auto industry. Can confirm that Jason is correct. Hence why most suppliers call electric superchargers “boosters” to make sure there’s no mistaking the definition.
I know someone with a V12 XJ sitting in his garage, though he says it’s more of a V10 at the moment. I think he’s too busy operating on people and driving his 911 Turbo to fix it.
Or maybe try it in an empty parking lot first before trying it in front of a crowd.
I really want to buy an 850i, take it on exactly one road trip, and immediately sell it.
