I have zero nostalgia for something I never even saw as a kid (or really ever, until just now)....CP all day for me. To 99% of buyers, this is just a malaise hatchback with an asking price that’s almost $2,000 too high.

Ditto, if the inside was better sorted(not missing things, actual condition looks good for age) and it was a bit lower mileage I would say NP easily. This was tempting but not quite on the mark, bit less coin and I could be legit interested.

That makes a reluctant NP for me. Could probably barter the seller down a bit for that $5k sweet spot.

Why would you have to fear destroying the gearbox? Transitioning to the other side of the car takes no time. The shift pattern is the same, the pedal arrangement is the same. The biggest PITA is that you have to pull way out to see before you overtake, and the aforementioned drive through issue

I drove in England, right hand drive and wrong side of the road.  Driving and shifting wasn't that hard to adjust, wrong side of the road was.  I wouldn't worry about wrecking the gearbox, pretty easy to adapt to the driving mechanics.
