That’s it. I’m done. I’ve full-on got horsepower fatigue. I’m sure this will be a totally amazing car, but I feel nothing about it. I’ve had five different Mustangs ranging from a 2.3 foxbody to a 4v Cobra and I’m completely ambivalent towards this new GT500. Is this what getting old is like? Am I going to start

This, 100%. I battled with the thought of getting a pickup (because I love the idea of having a pickup to haul shit with, and comes with a V8) and I love how they look. But I just can’t justify it; too big, thirsty, and I don’t actually have anything to haul around.

Neutral:

As may be, there’s not that much room to haggle. I’m not a negotiator, I despise it more than anything else about car buying, and you’ll save what, maybe $3-500 dollars if you wear the guy down?

They aren’t held accountable if a third-party part fails. But they can’t deny your warranty if the issue wasn’t caused by third-party parts/repairs.

If you install a third-party exhaust on your car, they can’t deny the warranty coverage when the window switches break. They’re completely unrelated.

Well, again.

When US auto companies first went to mexico, they wreaked havoc because they paid WAY TOO MUCH. It was catastrophic in many regions.

It sounds great to pay a lot, but there’s serious drawbacks. For example, if your doctors get paid more to work on an assembly line, then your doctors quit their practices and go work at

Cost of living in Mexico is 51.20% lower than in Canada (aggregate data for all cities, rent is not taken into account). Rent in Mexico is 66.78% lower than in Canada

It’s priced right at NADA retail, and super low mileage vehicles always bring over retail. It’s a nice price. Those voting crack pipe are comparing it to the 01 model with 146,000 miles for sale down the street for $3250 (but happens to look pretty much identical to this one).

Yep. My benchmark on voting NP was what 4-door, off-road capable SUV is similarly equipped, and only Jeep and Land Rover come to mind. I wouldn’t touch a Land Rover, and this is cheaper, and probably more comfortable than a hardtop Wrangler Unlimited

I agree completely. If this had normal mileage and was in the 50-60,000 mile range, CP; but 7500? This really is a new car.

Finally a reasonable, fact based opinion.

Well.

Also, his last paragraph seems to indicate there is literally no room for negotiation. Seems like kind of an ass.

My miiiiiinds telling me CP, but my body! My body! Is telling me NP!

With a combined mileage of 1 million miles, best as I can tell from a quick search in my area. Plus all automatic.

I have no idea why, but all reason goes out the window with these things and add such low mileage, the color and its a Pro-4X....dammit here’s all the money!! An inexplicable NP from me......
