There are times when I need a Pick Up truck. Nothing heavy, a few bags of mulch or the occasional trip to the dump. I had a really nice early 90's S10, restored and given to me by my father, but it was still more than I needed.

You would be amazed at how much room there is for the driver in one of these things. I bought a Subaru Sambar so that I would have some kind of PU truck but not one of those big gas guzzlers. It has incredible headroom and is plenty comfortable.

So I recently purchased a Durango Hellcat. The crap the deal put me through, along with the lowball trade (they knew they had me) had given me a new distaste for these mega dealerships.

Having just purchased a Durango Hellcat, I’m gonna have to go with today’s Hemi engine. Sure, it’s got it’s faults, but they are fairly easily corrected and nothing I’ve ever driven gives me that awesome feeling of being “King of the Road”.
