When I totaled my First Gen S10 PU, I bought a WK Grand Cherokee. I love the car, but since I am widowed and have no family locally, it’s kind of a waste. Also, I miss the hell out of not having a PU truck. This would be perfect, and I frankly feel like this is not all that outrageous for what appears to be a factory

Sounds like to me that he is training people to live on “generational”
starships. Another Bezos or Musk in training?

I like it. And if I had the disposable income, I would probably bid on it.

Had a similar situation around here a couple of years ago. A small gathering at a local Chic-fil-a got too big and the owners of the stores in the adjacent shopping mall forced them to close it down. Several months later, the same store owners were bemoaning the drop off of sales.

A friend of mine has one of these, and does his own work on it. He swears that the parts are ridiculously cheap, if you know where to look. He recently did some sort of major repair , and only invested about $100 in parts.

Have to disagree with two of these.

When I read this article, I flashed back to following convoys of National Guard going to Summer Camp. If I remember correctly, the top speed of the convoy was about 40 - 45 MPH. Just the thing to help all of the congested roads in California.

No, you missed my point. I would spend very little time traveling, but this seems like an alternative to a log cabin in the woods. Being a retired Over the Road driver, I’ve seen most places I want to see.

Recently, things like this have been on my mind. I am a 73 year old widower living in a big house in Florida, with all of the attendant maintenance. I have been thinking of finding a lot somewhere and finding something like this to just live in with the opportunity to just drop everything when I feel like it to visit

Well, going into this I pretty much knew what the reaction would be. Since the “counter” doesn’t seem to be working , I guess I will know tomorrow.

Are you an idiot or do you just not know how to research things. Shatner was the original Captain Kirk on Star Trek. He starred in the show for three seasons, and then about five feature length movies. How can someone working in today’s media not have any idea about iconic, very famous actors.

When I bought my ‘91 last year, I had our local Mazda specialist rebuild the engine for $3200. it was money well spent. These cars, in good running condition, are going for well over $10,000 on the various RX7 pages on Facebook.

I watch a considerable amount of foreign TV on various networks, and it makes me laugh how badly they are translated. When the “dubbed” in English voices say something directly opposite what the sub-titles are saying, it’s pretty funny.

My Dad leased these things for years. They were decent cars for the driver and passenger, although the paddle shifters in the later models made me laugh. Talk about useless.

Possibly the early demise of the Crossfire helped them make up their minds.
