What’s wrong with a Corvair engine? I have some personal experience with the 140 HP variant, and I have to tell you that the thing scoots along pretty nicely.

Surprised me too, actually. I was just looking for a decent  price on a GC Hemi and stumbled across this at Jerry Ulm’s in Tampa. I wasn’t necessarily looking for the 2WD, but am just as happy with it.

I now have CBS All Access but have been thinking about canceling it. It’s is still too glitchy. Many times the commercials don’t load properly or take forever to load.

I don’t think those had bucket seats. A bench seat would be a bit tight, but doable if all party’s were amenable (and relatively thin).

It’s a 2012. The salesman told me that it is the last year it was offered that way. But, it is a Gran Cherokee Overland with 5.7 Hemi. You can’t really tell the difference just looking at it.

THIS. I bought a 2WD Grand Cherokee last year, and am totally happy with it. It is comfortable, pretty luxurious compared to previous owned vehicles, and pretty darn quick (HENI powered). Living in Florida, I need 4WD or AWD like a hole in the head. As for offroading, it’s really just not my thing.

A bunch of us at a local car show today were talking about this. Were there no weather forecasts predicting this kind of weather? Did no one in the media recommend turning off the water when the temperatures were heading down this low?  When we Floridians get a freeze warning, we take a minute to turn off the water

Thanks for telling me about this. I thought it was laugh out loud funny and will be watching.

Funny. Just tonight saw a Carvana commercial in which the guy was being held hostage by the dealer.

This was a road tractor, as in tractor trailer, not a farm tractor. Unlike a train, you still needed to street the truck when you were shifting.

And before them, it was Rambler.

You guys haven’t lived until you have driven an old Bull Nose Mack tractor. There was one point in the shift pattern where you literally had to take both hands off the wheel to move the levers simultaneously.

Gotta say, I went for NP. Not really my kind of car, but I imagine the engine parts alone are worth the asking price. It looks well and neatly done, although for the life of me I can never understand the idea of exposing the intercooler to the rocks and other debris coming from the car in front.

Not really detained, but back in the day I decide that I wanted a Dodge Colt with the twin stick transmission. We went to the dealer, made the deal, and then came back the next day to pick up the car. When we got to the “signing” they had already taken the tags offf of my trade and given us the keys to the new car. I

In general, I stopped watching anything on the CW because too many damn commercials!!!

If this had been someone from the Trump administration, people would be screaming bloody murder. This guy should be looking for a job, not a week off.

Doesn’t mean it makes sense. Sorry.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out who has decided that lane splitting is a good idea. There are so many things that can go wrong, not the least of which is someone opening a door in front of you or throwing something out of their window as you pass by. I just watched an old Top Gear episode where Hammond did

I blame all of these stunts on Top Gear and Grand Tour.

I am well familiar with the European cabs, and agree that they offer better comfort than the older COE’s in the States. One reason for the predominance of COE’s in Europe and the UK is maneuverability. With all of the older cities and towns over there, a long nose truck would be pretty much impossible to justify.
