I watched this, and enjoyed it. But the back of my mind kept screaming “HIGHLANDER”. Just my two cents.

Yeah, but you better have a lot of money on your gas card, because this engine at those RPM’s suck gas.

The S2000 is (was) such a nice looking car it’s a shame to muck about with it. But the price is probably right, and I am sure someone will fall in love with it, just to be a bit different.

I’d go for the V6. The only reason I am sticking with the Rover engine is because it is basically OEM, although 1.1 liters bigger. Otherwise, the 4.0 or 4.6 would be better, I think, than the 3.9. They are basically the same engine, but the 4.6 has a longer stroke.

Land Rover probably head gasket(s). Known for that. I would take that in a minute if I lived closer. Actually having a new (used) 4.6 Rover motor delivered today for my TR8.

Yesterday I was out cruising in my RX7 FC Convertible, and one of these sky high trucks pulls up next to me at a light. Guy looks out, opens his window and compliments me on my car and says that he wishes he had one like it.

A neighbor of mine has two XK 120's. They are beautiful and delightful cars. The mere thought of converting even one of these to electric is almost heretical.

See, here’s the thing. This is not a Black/White issue. This is a nosy neighbor issue. As Chairman of the ACC in our community, my phone constantly rings with calls from people of ALL colors complaining about what their neighbor is doing on their own property, and whether or not they are following the rules.

Seriously? Engine a version of those used in 1960 Falcons? I had one of those, and it was a POS. CP all the way.

THIS 72 year old grandpa drives a 1991 RX7 Convertible and a Grand Cherokee Hemi. The RX7 hits the redline regularly, and the Hemi is just plain fun.

On the way home from Church, we would stop at Silbur’s for something sweet and pick up some coddies for lunch from the deli next door. (Maybe grabbing a pickled onion out of the barrel next to the counter.) Seemed like standard Sunday fare.

They call them lien’s on the title, and when the loan is paid off, the paper at the top says “lien release”. So yeah, probably a car loan.

I enjoyed this episode more than any in the past couple of years. Great fun and a great job.

When I moved to Florida, I made it a point to purchase a home in an HOA, and I read the rules first. I, myself, have a tendency to “collect” projects, and I truly wanted to have someone else telling me when to stop. That being said, our HOA is kind of lenient and as long as all of the cars are actually in the

Many years ago, in my truck driving days, I spotted an old Triumph Spitfire in a lot. So, I stopped, and found that the car had been a local high school’s project, where they converted it to electric (the trunk was filled with batteries), but still somehow used the manual transmission which came with the Spitfire.

Um, down here in Florida we just generally stop and wait for the turtle to cross. They generally move pretty quickly, especially if the asphalt is hot. It’s not unusual to see 10 or 20 car backups on some roads.

David, David. You are so young. Back in the day, it was totally possible to push start an automatic transmission car. Check it out:

I like my Sharp Cordless just fine, thank you. Does a great job, plenty powerful.

    Played OK for me.

I knew this was gonna go down the “CP” tubes because “someone else’s project”. But, I have to say that this is clean, so clean that it looks new, and it’s not like it was an LS swap or anything.
