In most HOA’s, it’s pretty damn had to amend the Covenant (this is the thing that tells people what they can do, NOT the by laws). In ours, you need the assent of 75% of the members to change even one word in the Covenant. A pretty hard thing to do.

I have solved this problem. I am chairman of the committe in our HOA who makes these decisions. That being said, the vehicle in question does NOT (in my opinion) break the rules as stated. He would be welcome in our HOA.

Minor gripe. The cover on an English car is called the “Bonnet”. The “hood” is was the rest of the world refers to as the “top”.

Some time ago, a week after a dispute with a neighbor, two deputies showed up at my front door at 10PM. They asked if they could come in, and I admitted them. They then started questioning me about the dispute. I said “have you talked to the guy yet”. “No, we thought we would talk to you first.” I said “It’s time for

It’s at a dealer. Always a good amount of negotiation available at a dealer. I voted NP because I figured I could get a grand off the price, and it would be a kick to have around town down here in Florida.

Every day, something new to remind me that CRUISE SHIPS SUCK!!!!

A lot of electric forklifts working in warehouses have cowbells attached to one of the wheels.

This is the ultimate “don’t buy someone else’s project” car.

There was a time when it was actually less efficient to start and stop a diesel motor than to leave it idling. In that situation, shutting the engine down for 5 or 10 minutes made no sense.

One of our Club members showed up in his Uncle’s Red 300 ZX one day and announced that it was on the market for $5000. I drooled. The car was actually in better shape than the one presented here, showroom quality throughout, engine totally updated by the factory.

No one would miss this crap car if it went off the market tomorrow.

Biggest mistake I ever made was back 40 some years ago when all my wife and I had was a TR4 and suddenly she could not get behind the wheel and needed other transportation. I then cast myself into the world of boring cars and damn near went crazy.

My computer is doing the same thing.

Nice vehicle. Over priced by about 100%.

Do you not talk to your neighbors? Why the hell would either of you put a fence up 6 inches from the other’s fence? We had a similar deal go down in our neighborhood recently, and it had all of us scratching our heads.

Having just had my left knee replaced, I am slowly realizing that at age 70 I may not be able to continue to enjoy the cars in my garage. I bought an early Jeep GC Hemi last year, and enjoyed the hell out of taking out to my daughter in Oakland.

As I am sure David would say, “where is the fun in that?’. I met an alful lot of nice people on that trip, too.

I went through this some years ago with my MGB. Turned out I had to unscrew the brake sensor from underneath the Master Cylinder to let both sides of the system to get fluid.

Any one of these that has survived the years without turning into a rust bucket is right up there on top of my list. This may be the only example of one of these that I have seen in years, and in damn good condition.

The interesting thing is that somehow the MSRP is listed as over $50,000. So much for Autotrader.
