I watched this twice and don’t really understand how this could have happened. Those containers and the chassis that they sit on are pretty standardized, and I didn’t see any low bridge markings anywhere. Each container is clearly marked with it’s height, in such a way that the driver can see it in his left hand

Seriously? Did I sleep through a couple of months last night and wake up on April first? This entire article is a joke, right?

I well remember driving the original TVR Tuscan (also imported as the Griffith) when one came in for service at Towson Ford. At that time, it had a Shelby 289 powering it, which was quite fast enough for the times.

When is aa Jaguar NOT a Jaguar? When it’s one of these. I see these sitting in people’s front yards all over the place down here, most at half this price. CP.

I love pulling into the gas station with my newly on the road TR8. I ALWAYS get a comment and a bunch of looks.

Virginia becaause the Port at Norfolk.

Yeah, it’s just that everyone seems to have one. I would much rather drive something unique.

You’re correct. I misread the ad.

SUV’s are cvalled crossovers when their underneath parts are taken from some sort of automobile. They are NOT crossovers when their bassic underpinings are a pick up truck.

Yeah. We make a big deal about wearing helmits while riding bikes and yet anybody can ride one of these things without worrying about protection.

My understanding is that the biggest problem they had was camshafts.

The guy who recommended it to me is a member of our British Car club and has been in the business of repairing these things since the mid 50's. He comes up with answers when the rest of us are running around going crazy. He’s pretty old now, and I don’t know what the hell we are gonna do when he passes.

The way people trea these things, and the way Lime’s business model services them, I’m surprised every one of them is not suspect.

If you want to watch old Top Gear stuff, there is plenty of it on You Tube. And, if you have access, you can sometimes watch them on iPlayer (BBC’s playback site).

Back when these comics came out, and yes I had all of them, no one thought about practical stuff like this. Today, everyone picks everything apart ust to have something to say.

I recently spotted a Mustang from this era and was struck by how good it looked (and sounded). The owner, and older guy like me, was obviously enjoying his car, and we exchanged grins as we sat next to each other at the light. Telight changed and he took off, and what a great sound. The car was beautiful, too, and

Well, 2000 pound 260 HP cars don’t tend to do to well in the snow!!

Here’s a trick an old mechanic taught me. Get a CO2 tester from Autozone or wherever (small, refundable deposit). Measure the air in the top of the coolant tank overflow. If you have CO2 in there, you probably have head gasket failure somewhere. If not, you’re OK.

I have this service, I forget how I found out about it or why I signed up for it. It’s, to me, a pretty stupid service and I wonder why the USPS is offering it. I thought they were in a budget crunch? I rarely look at it, usually just delete it automatically.

How’s your project coming? I have finally gotten mine on the road. I found out that the intake manifold needs to be properly sealed and torqued. The book I was using didn’t list torque for the intake manifold, so I just tighened them as much as I thought and went on. If not properly done, the coolant will leak into
