This past Summer a friend’s battery for his back up house generator simply exploded. Never did find the reason - wasn’t on charge or anything. Could have been the heat.

But, too many miles and indications (to me) that the care had not been serviced with any kind of regularity (discolored valve cover from spilled oil? Really?) has dropped it to CP for me. 1Let me just say that if photoshopping was a thing back then, this would have been a prime example. These cars were NOT low, long and sleek as depicted in this heavily altered picture. They were kind of boxy and quite a bit taller.

Not only were they great looking, but they were nice riding cars, too. My neighbor bought a new one and I remember being impressed with the ride and sophistication of the vehicle. 

You guys aree worrying too damn much and way too prepared. All you need is a good Classi Car Insurance towing policy and maybe, AAA, just in case. No, they are a solid steel beam covered with rubber, plus their very hefty mounts. Guarantee they are close to 100 pounds, and then you add in the back bumper.

OK, so you take an already hard to find car and turn it into something it’s not. It’s possible that I would consider paying 15 large for a Bricklin in very good condition, because they were pretty cool cars back in the day and I wouldn’t mind having one to just drive around and go to the car shows.

Fourth Gear. J.B.Hunt was always at the bottom of the scale, anyway, and they limited their trucks to 55 MPH, which just makes it worse if you are being paid by the mile.

Well, Mazda’s are pretty well known to run for a long, long time engine and driveline wise. I had a Probe (Mazda 6) that ran for over 300,000 miles before I gave it away.
