Finally, the Pandemic is over
Finally, the Pandemic is over
Oh man, I thought my game was glitched... couldn’t figure out why they weren’t hopping on
Dude, tell me about it. They really effed up the Scorpion. In the old games you had your marines sitting on that bad boy, now... meh. My squad does a much better job than a scorp.
It certainly is a hit on BCE. If they were experienced in TCG grading and authentication I would think they should have been able to catch that they were fake. When it comes to collectables sealed is ALWAYS preferred if you have no intention in using/playing with said collectable. From my understanding the boxes…
that’s what struck me most about this story. This isn’t just blow to their credibility, but a full bore existential crisis for them.
Yeah, for sure. And I commented on BCE, but the shitty part of all this, to me, is that this motherfucker just threw away 3.5 million dollars. Meanwhile, most people are struggling to afford food and rent.
Fuck money.
We’re talking about the crazy world of collectors here, where unopened items are often worth ten times opened packages even if the contents are 100% identical. I assume that’s why traders would only check the box and, if it appears sealed and untampered, keep it that way + mark it as verified.
Wait, BCE’s defense was, “He didn’t ask us if they were Pokemon cards. He asked us if they were in good condition”? That’s some Twilight Zone genie shit.
And this is why I always play on ‘the easiest difficulty that doesn’t bore me’, rather than ‘the hardest difficulty I can manage’; I don’t actually find frustration fun!
I’m sorry but an incomplete or broken game does not justify any toxicity. Period. If you think it does, you need to grow up or take a break from a hobby which is clearly not actually bringing you happiness.
Yup. Nine out of every ten players made it through Mass Effect 2’s final mission with everyone alive. In a mission that functions by design to have you lose some party members—one that’s so maze-like in its possible outcomes you basically need a byzantine flowchart to properly navigate every key decision.
Deep Sea Adventure is incredibly enjoyable, though I wonder if it will lose some of its charm not being played on an actual table. Also, I’ve never been able to get enough interested people together to play Fake Artist, so this is a welcome development.
It’s a strong indication of how much contempt Republicans have for the American voting public that they continue to claim that moderate Democrats are “socialists”. No one who has any understanding of actual socialism could make that claim with a straight face.
“When life gets bad, blogs get good.”
My (elementary aged) kid used to play a game on her Kindle that had an entire fake microtransaction marketplace so that she could buy cosmetic items. Yeah, clicking the button for more gems was more like using a cheat code, but they’re actively priming children to think nothing about microtransactions. I finally made…
Just because Tesla has no PR department doesn’t mean you have to volunteer.
I’m enjoying clearing as many markers in an area as I can find before moving onto each mission. I’m trying to get the most I can out of this thing!
Explain to me, if you would, one application of NFTs that:
Obviously issues with the company, sure. But even if they were many, many degrees worse than they are (cough, Facebook and Google, cough) I’d still be very much on their side against the douchebag sexually harassing children for online fame.
