I'd say there are more factors than this one. A lot of times a woman on the team would be the girlfriend of someone else on the team, and they'd break-up mid season. Then you'd have to wait to see who got the team as part of the break-up.

Well, in some ways this CBS deal does represent a failure by the NFL. The NFL tried to migrate their content onto their own channel to get even more money, but discovered it wasn't as easy as they thought it would be.

Did I read that correctly? Their stadium only holds ~3,000 fans? If a 3k seat stadium can sustain a soccer team financially, I'd say the US version should seriously consider doing the same.

I play pickup-soccer on the weekends, and someone just so happen to quiz me on some of this stuff last weekend. I think I got every question wrong, even about the Sounders, who I watch all the time with friends. I just don't care.

Wishful thinking, but Hangouts is not a packaged app, it is a Chrome extension. I wish it was a packaged app though, along with Google Music.

Any way you can change all your animated gifs to just animate on mouseover (i.e. hover)? I like animated gifs, but they can be annoying at times!

I know you're not an expert, but wouldn't just having a 2nd password (i.e. enter 2 passwords) be just as effective? I would think 2 sloppy passwords would be better than 1 good one, and more convenient than sending annoying passwords to my phone all the time.

I have a Galaxy Tab 10 and I always liked Gizmodo's idea to use Gray for the frame-border rather than black. I'd also rather it have more of a grippy plastic on the back.

Is it that hard to put a DVR in one of these things? It would make it a lot easier to use with over-the-air content (local sports, etc). I thought the price of hardware was supposed to go down over time.

There's no excuse to torrent this show. AMC isn't in some sort of chest-pounding ego-contest like HBO, each episode is available on Amazon a day later.
