Is your problem with minor characters in Horizon? Because I’ve felt hat Aloy’s animations are actually pretty damn good. She does these little things with her eyes while speaking which feel very very real to me. Other characters are not all up to that level of detail.

The characters models, and the way the armor sits on them, are distinctly different in game and clearly identifiable as male or female. These are all dudes for sure.

The dude looks enough like me that I freaked out for a quarter second before realizing it wasn’t my reflection on his Switch.

I just don’t get the absolute fanaticism that people go through to talk down to those who want to harmlessly fantasise about a glorified cartoon video game character.
