EVERY “vegan meat replacement” does best when it’s treated as its own thing.
I am very good cook. I worked in gourmet kitchens for years. I eat Mac n Cheese out of the blue box maybe once a week. I never use milk, and I barely ever use more than a teaspoon of butter. Naked, Sriracha..salsa..cracked pepper and/or ketsup....who knows what condiment might hit that day. A month or so ago I had it…
Ramen, I ALWAYS drain like 95% of the water and then put the seasoning packet on.
“roasted” marshmallows must be black hard crusted molten lava.
Whenever I cooked the nissen ramen packets, I would cook the noodles through, drain the water, and then work in the flavor packet. Some noodles would kill with flavor.
There is risk and tension in the strategy they used. If one item with Kirkland sucks or disappoints, it drags down perception of all Kirkland items. If you’re Sears and DieHard sucked, it might not hurt Craftsman or Kenmore as much.
I can’t stand ‘creamy’ scrambled eggs/omelets, the texture is absolutely disgusting, so when I make eggs they’re a bit on the well done side.
Best idea here. Make it better by eliminating the bun. Just a nice chocolate bar. I never cease to be amazed by the number of people who run out to buy the latest bit of stupidity. I can see all those people rushing out to but chocolate bars and burger buns and then presenting this as a Valentine’s gift.
I learned American bread is crazy sweet watching a YouTube video of several Asian countries eating sandwich and hotdog bread as a pastry. It made me really consider what I was eating. Why does bread have corn syrup in it?
A good example of why not to be a stock photo model.
Baby, if you ever wondered, wondered whatever became of them....they lived on the air in Cincinnati...Cincinnati WKRP.
I started at 35. I learned a few tricks along the way.
People in the spectrum also likely experience cognitive empathy more than anything else — you can tell because when someone discusses an experience, they will also share their own experience as a way to show they have gone thru something similar — but, at times, other people see this as a narcissistic trait — when in…
Huh. I’ve been using a trick I read on Lifehacker years ago about using muffin molds to bake perfectly round cookies. I’ll just continue doing that instead of faffing about with each cookie individually on a hot sheet pan. Muffin molds also yield crispier edges.
My county sent me a call notice just 1 month after I *served*. Their system is clearly terrible. I wrote on it that state law said I couldn’t be called again for a minimum of 1 year after serving, and sent it back.
This makes me sad. Jury duty is one of the most important life experiences we should all participate in. I understand if you truly have a hardship, but even if I had a hardship, I’d still do my best to do my duty.
And the next article is telling people how to get out of voting? Being on a jury is one of the most important things a citizen is called upon.
How is it befitting their Asian influence to have rooibos tea in there? Rooibos is native to South Africa, not Asia.
Rooibos tea is African if I'm not mistaken.
