And their the worst, because they are true believers in the idea that they are the wokest of all.  No one will EVER be able to convince them that, yeah, they are hella fuckin’ racist.

I’m no fan of Beto, but their piece on him that claimed he Wasn’t Really Punk was a thinly veiled temper tantrum about the fact that he raised more money than Bernie.

Keep your devil magic all seeing eye away! AWAY!

He has a voting record, and just ran a campaign in TX. Plenty to talk about.

To be fair, there’s also a lot of Kamala hatred in these parts. I mean, there’s clearly no better Democrat than a 77 year-old white, male, gun-loving Independent from a state with a population smaller than that of D.C.

I love how they spend a bunch of time complaining about how he stands on things to talk to people, then criticize him for not saying anything, but refuse to report on what he's saying while standing on things talking to people. Like, lol, ok what the fuck.

“I just wish we could discuss him like any other candidate. Because he is any other candidate. He has strengths and weaknesses. He’s a politician, not a guru.”

I get worried when legitimate complaints of Bernie get handwaved away as: “Well you don’t have to like him to support him”. It reeks of the same double-standard Trump supporters use. With the field that exists today, we don’t need to hitch up to this wagon again.

The funny thing is, while this seems like a premature retirement, historically 31 is old for a tennis player. It shows how much the game has changed this century.

Wow, tough news.... I was never a Murray fan, specifically, but it’s hard to root against him - he’s just such a likable person, both on and off the court.

we get older. its fine.

2008 is supposed to be like 30 years in the future :-)

With every passing day I still can’t believe that our nation’s election system, and millions of absolute brain dead idiots somehow made this asshole president.

You said a lot of smart/funny things in this piece, but you also said “ham is mostly terrible” so I think that means we’re enemies.

Apparently unpopular opinion: Being able to read what your parents/grandparents wrote on pieces of paper is a useful skill that should be encouraged.

History teacher here:

This is probably the best article I’ve seen explaining Splinter’s stance on this particular subject. I seriously disagree with it - even if you believe the country is “stuck on autopilot” and voting is too hard and/or soul-crushing, sitting on your hands and waiting for some magical candidate to come and lay waste to

You know the real problem with voter apathy?

seriously! i don’t get  how pretending that Obama did nothing because you think he didn’t do enough is productive in any way.

The premise hasn’t aged well, but the jokes are still gold and the casting and performances perfect. The aftermath of the baby eating the chili, “north to drop off, asshole!,” “Want a beer?” “It’s seven o’clock in the morning!” “...Scotch?”
