@MagicTrackpad: That's ok. People listen to music from their speaker on the train all the time.

@ian.g.case: I like the ability to download and install whatever I want as well as have widgets and skins more than I like having authoritative control over how I will use my phone.

@Kayno: Not android, cell phone OEMs are to blame.

@mile13: I got the MT3G update....to cupcake T_T

I for stock android skin and good HW. Possibly a more recent FW.

@disstill: Could you install a 32 bit Windows OS onto your 64 bit machine? If so, it probably runs on the x86 architecture - a subset of the x86-64 ISA.

@Accelerata: Oh, yeah, I was only really talking about desktop windows. If I'm not mistaken, I would think that WinCE has been ported to PPC given it's popularity. That said, cell is not an embedded chip nor will it be for a while, and although it may be able to run, it definitely is not optimized to take advantage

@Accelerata: People that pretend to know something about computer architecture but really know nothing become pretty apparent very quickly. Especially, 'round these parts.

@Gotlactose: windows only runs on x86 processors. This would have to run linux or equivalent.

@Fizzter: It's anti-competitive because it prevents your competitors from competing on equal footing. Why would microsoft not do this today if it is legal? Say that they would give intel kickbacks if they prevented apple products from using the full potential of intel chips.

@Fizzter: anti-competitive practices. It was bad enough when Microsoft tweaked their code so Word Perfect would no longer work, this would immediately land them in a law suit.

@boywithadream: Wouldn't it be longhorn, the project code-name?

@fotd_spectacular: 609 is the greatest! Everytime I get a number from 609 I feel like I have an instant bond with that person. I grew up just outside of Princeton.

@DennyCraneDennyCraneDennyCrane: Everyone attacks svchost. Hell, even a windows update a couple years ago blew it up and sent it to taking up 100% cpu at all times.

@nicholas1987ucsb: This happens to me whenever I am programming. The word loses meaning and I often doubt the spelling, even if it is something as simple as iter.

@Mufinn Man: or you could just get a sweet table washing dog like me, then they will wash all your glass fixtures while you are away at work.

appreciate this destruction!

How do I apply for this job?
