They need to replace the midlevel V6 with a twin-turbo 3.0 unit of about 350-375 HP and similar torque. The NA 3.6 doesn’t look like enough of an upgrade to justify its presumed cost. A 375 HP TT V6 with a six-speed manual and the 1LE handling package would represent the sweet spot IMO.

I love you $kay- we all do- but the Sheriff is right. The Corvette is a significantly more iconic American car than the Ford GT. ‘Vette- 62 years of continuous production. GT- what, maybe 10 years total? I know you love the GT but objectively you know I’m right.

Total Crack Pipe. My parents had a ‘79 four-door and I had the “privilege” of driving it in high school. I wrecked it the summer between my junior and senior year. I still maintain I did them a favor because they ditched questionable domestic small cars and into a series of Hondas.

Suburbans are awesome. I owned an '84 4x4 half-ton for about a year in my early 20's. It was a bit of a dog and not the most reliable, but I loved that beast. It was unstoppable, and, in a pinch, I could sleep in it.

Large naval thingy *URP*

Every car would be a Chevy Sonic?

THIS! So. Much. This. Ghastly as it might seem to suggest more regulations, but I think it should be mandated that if a car uses its headlights or bright LEDs as DRLs, it should also have automatic headlights.

I agree, and it's sad. Dodge could have a Mercedes-AMG GT killer if it did the Viper right- that is, a lighter, more nimble chassis with the 6.4L Hemi as a base engine and the Hellcat mill optional. Until then, it will remain a crude throwback.

I have never understood why they didn't replace them 10 years ago with JDM Toyota bBs. Since they were built from the start as right hand drive, no big mods would have been needed.

...and we absolutely love her for it. Never change, $kay.

Unmolested 1977-1990 Chevy Impalas/Caprices. I've owned 2 (a '77 2-door Aerocoupe and an '89 9C1) and whenever I see one in the wild now they're usually all donked out. It makes me sad.

I had this exact poster on my wall as a teenager. For not having any women on it, it's pretty damn hot.

The water concussing from the big gun's blast is fucking awesome.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the Viper in its current form needs to die. With Dodge's own Hellcat V8 now outpowering it and a dated chassis, it needs to be put out to pasture. Bring it back on a lighter, more nimble platform, with both N/A and Hellcat Hemis, and then FCA will have a true bargain supercar.

Impala

Came here to see if there's a puddle forming beneath $kay. Was not disappointed.

Really? I see them All. The. Damn. Time. Morons who don't know the difference just driving around with no other marker lights illuminated. Cars with DRLs SHOULD be required to have automatic headlights. Hell, my '97 Grand Prix did.

'69 Camaro. Duh.
