I wouldn’t automatically assume that Americans hate new Cammy though. Until enough Americans speak up, the developers would probably assume that Americans are 50/50 and Japanese fans are all in. You can’t appeal to a market that’s 50/50, might as well appeal to the one that cares more.

I’m not going to pretend that I’m not biased towards good/cool looking characters. As long as they are cool enough, they can be quite ugly though. Zangief for example, is not a pretty character.

Otaku culture is starting to really bug me. It’s always been there, but it’s become a larger, more vocal and, more importantly, financially important part of Japanese anime and game development these past several years.

I personally wouldn’t mind a game populated by “ugly” characters. I think the now-gone Cammy design is beautiful, and I wouldn’t mind a “less attractive” Ryu. I think imperfections give them personality, and make them feel more “real”.

er.. Oookay.. But can they keep the original ,western, cammy skin also? She is supposed to be british with a smaller cup size, not asian with a large cup size. So lets at least include both? Its not like her artwork was flawed... Been that way since ssf2.. Pls, at least both?
