As a library paraprofessional (with my MLIS but not yet employed at that level) and an avid D&D player, I have a lot of thoughts on this subject.

First of all, I think more research is needed on this topic before it’s possible to reach any sort of definitive conclusion about why libraries don’t stock more RPG books.
