The Royal Family are lizard people, confirmed. Phillip was just looking for a way back home.

I was just saying this to Mr Chienfou the other day, about how SNL so rarely does recurring sketches lately and how I wish they’d bring back the one where McKinnon has these wildly differing experiences from the other people.

Apparently the BBC received a record number of complaints about giving over the airwaves to continuous coverage of Philip’s death. Viewers were very upset that their favorite shows had been pre-empted. Also upset that Andrew had been given air time (he looks like shite BTW).  So the Royal family might want to take

There’s only one true expert on aliens:

Still not enough mockery.

If you’re poor and you believe in aliens, you’re a tinfoil hat wearing redneck who gets mocked on late night television.

The mammogram thing is definitely old news. I’m scheduled for a mammogram tomorrow and not only did the scheduler ask me, but when they sent my text reminder today there was a note asking me to reschedule if I had received a COVID vaccine less than four weeks ago.

You’re welcome! I’m all for sharing information and experiences, understanding that we are all different and we’ll have different responses.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing that. This is the first time I’ve noticed it, but will keep an eye out when I get my flu shot this year.

I got my second shot yesterday and have a swollen lymph node in my neck, near my collarbone. This is a very rare side effect, even more rare than the underarm lymph node reaction, based on what I’ve read. I’m not up in arms because no one told me about it.

At the same time, I think it is ok to be irritated that medicine is still developed with men in mind. I had horrible side effects after my second shot, and when I looked at the side effect stats, women were way more over-represented than men. One of the consistencies in the studies was medical professionals

I’m not up in arms about anything, but this is important information that needs to be out there. I’ve already emailed this article to a work friend since we both will probably be vaccinated at our university workplace.

Honestly, I probably wouldn’t even notice if my period came early, as it’s typically a couple of days early/couple of days late as it is, and has been that way for the past 30 years. And it’s always been stupid heavy for the first two days anyway.

I’ve noticed that the lymph node in my neck has started swelling for a day or two post-vaccine for the last 5 years. Doesn’t matter which vaccine — though the first time I noticed it was when I received the third dose of the rabies vaccine.

Agreed. I can’t imagine the techs aren’t asking if patients have been vaccinated at this point--this is something to pay attention to and track, and maybe reword the letter so said patient doesn’t wig out, but it’s not some nefarious plot.

When I got the J&J shot (the single shot one), I got paperwork that said that this had been authorized to be used even though it hadn’t been completely tested. Like you said, we are basically doing the largest live testing in history with the vaccines because the alternative is even more sick and dead.

I went thru this. I get my 2nd shot on the 23rd and I had a routine mammogram scheduled for a couple weeks ago. It’s now scheduled in mid June. The woman I spoke to said the information they were getting was changing constantly but if it wasn’t a situation where the doctor wanted the mammogram asap, it was better to

Yeah that seems odd, especially given how hard it’s been to schedule covid shots in most areas. I had my mammo a month ago and Kaiser specifically told me to delay the mammo if I had recently had a covid shot.

Yeah, that’s a little scary. My doc has been telling her patient to hold off on everything until after your Covid shot.

While I’m normally all about the gendered biases in medicine, this articles seems a little excessive, given that we are learning, literally in real time, about both the coronavirus and Covid, and the vaccines. A year ago people were wiping down their mail or quarantining their packages. We only learned of efficacious
