I suspect there was a mass banning due to the paucity of posts on SNS. Though I could be wrong. 

The Root seems to be able to handle dissension and debate, as well, without picking its toys up and running home when it doesn’t get its way.

Oh, I know you know! I was just venting. But now, I feel bad. Some of the commenters I missed and believed to have simply suddenly left may have been banned and I didn’t realise.....
