A LOT OF PEOPLE DO. I live for the sun but this isn’t uncommon. In fact, I think Dorothy Hamill (I think it was she?) stated that the cold arena in ice skating helped her depression. And a friend of mine (briefly!) plunges her head into ice water for anxiety. Apparently, it is an approved treatment.

I am so sorry for what you went through. (And the situation I described was likely the least negative interaction I have had with a male doctor.)

A doctor of mine in 1986 told me that cramps were imaginary. 

It really does. Touring the Vatican’s modern art collection, alone, was a vast eye-opener for me. 

I’m going to take a running leap and assume that the mosques and synagogues you enter aren’t full to the coffers with stolen loot, and the ravages of destroyed lives.

I don’t think it is a parody of bra commercials but fairly well every consumerist product marketed to women (and at a steeper price) — and who do so under the rubric of grrrrrrlpower! It’s very clever, agreed.

I’m fairly sure that many celebrities will come out in favour of Britney Spears now that public opinion has turned in her favour.
