Pair of these mounted to the back of my roof basket seem to do the trick:

You drive down the road with that open?

I wish more cars came with LESS features. My want list of things is short- the only things that might be considered “amenities” that I want in a car are cruise control and AC. I don’t want anything else. I don’t want power seats or power windows. I don’t want a touchscreen or infotainment system. I don’t want Bluetooth

I wish I had your restraint, I gobble it down like a starving man at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

God yes I miss those numeric keypads, though I’m not into watersports.

I try to spread out a new episode, consume it in pieces over a few hours.

Quarter lights. AKA the crotch-blower.

I go through serious withdrawl waiting for “Project Binky” updates...

No one on this website drives a modern car, apparently.

Well, there are two types of tire-pressure monitoring.

Direct TPMS: This uses actual sensors on the tire stems to read pressure. Typically, these cars will have larger, metal valve stems. On most cars, you’ll receive an up-to-date readout in the dashboard of the pressure at each corner. Therefore, it’s a lot more

Auto-dimming side-view mirrors. I honestly have no idea how prevalent this is nowadays since my cars are fairly old, but I had a rental car with this feature and loved it.

HAVE I GOT THE CAR FOR YOUUU

I love the “infotainment” system in my VW. It has:

Basic, not-integrated-into-everything stereo. Give it bluetooth, maybe a small screen for a backup camera but DON’T LET IT CONTROL THE FUCKING HVAC, DOOR LOCKS, LIGHTS, ETC.

Some manufacturers wont even let you start the car if it becomes defective or replaced. Even replaced with another OEM, sometimes it needs special

Can be bring back the following:

-Infotainment screen dimming: Doesn’t do much good to dim the instrument cluster at night if the nav screen is still gonna blind you. Most seem to allow dimming if you navigate through a bunch of menus, but I’d like to have it linked with the instrument cluster, or have its own control so the driver can easily tweak

Is visibility considered a feature? I can’t see shit out of most new cars.

I would like crank windows with a power option for the non-driver windows. I do not miss reaching over to unwind the passenger window.

Crank windows and manual transmissions.
