Allowing players to pay for items that potentially gives them an advantage destroys the balance of your game. Straight and simple. Whether they mislead players or not, they shouldn't have micro-transactions like this as it WILL hurt their game. They should be called out on it because we need to make it clear to

But, if a game isn't finished yet, and features are buggy, perhaps they shouldn't have microtransactions where you can lose real money when it is buggy. I'm fine accepting an early access game or a beta is going to have issues, but the company probably shouldn't be so greedy that they need to throw microtransactions

this is starting to look shady now, i hope i dont get disappointed again the same way i had hope for Destiny before

It's not bugged. If it was bugged they wouldn't have stated the following;

We're going to be making some big changes to [airdrops] in the next day or so. 1) Dramatically widening the radius they come in—it's too small from what we're observing. 2) Making sure the chance for guns is a much lower chance so they are much

A pay-to-win mechanic in a F2P game is never "pretty awesome" though. Now, when it's changed, yeah they sound a great idea. The problem isn't airdrops themselves, just that they're loaded with loot and pretty much drop on your head.

No, the problem isn't airdrops exactly... You should word it better.

People are happy for airdrops, but we were promised airdrops DID NOT contain Food/Water/Ammo/Guns, and that it would contain supplies instead, something that was found in other places, with preferably cosmetic items.

I'm mildly distressed that they didn't shoot anyone with it.

He wants to be superior.

You could say that about every video game. Why are you here?

What do I get for not having played World of WarCraft for 10 years?!

Even though I love Zelda this is probably the one Zelda game I have never been able to sit down and complete. That being said I can't wait for it to come and finally beat it.

Why would you want costumes that change the gameplay rather than just aesthetics so that people who really want can buy and the others don't miss any bit of gameplay from.

Not an issue for me. They ship complete story games with very little glitches. The story and game play is always good, if not great. Costumes are fodder for the most part. It's not a requirement to buy it to make the game enjoyable.

Fanfiction DLC is best DLC.

I already have saved some JP PSN card for the Tales Cameo Costumes just because god damn i love those, will probably cave in for the Evangelion and Idolm@ster ones.

I'm a little conflicted, because these costumes do look really good + the change in music/sound-effects is really nice, as far as additional costumes go. Then again, the price of getting it all would be a pain for completionists. Then again, I doubt anyone really needs this many sets of costumes to get through the

"I was hoping after the fiasco with AC Unity being so broken upon release they'd have learned a BIT of a lesson for their DLC."

Warning: Bragging Incoming.

"I also can't help but feel like this is karma for them making so many terrible, player-unfriendly decisions"

You keep repeating this, and I keep disagreeing with you.
If you don't agree with the game's practices then you stop playing or you make forum posts about it. You don't cheat your way to the prizes that others
