@hawkeye18: it might be residual from the ants... so i wouldn't be surprised if elephants were afraid of all animals smaller than a certain scale - i.e. animals too small for it to deal with should it go on a bite/scratch crazy rampage.

john ham and christina hendricks would have been perfect in terms of capturing a classic pulp look....

gotta add the "cyclical nature of civilization" epic - 'a canticle for leibowitz'!

ok... those bumps are "for her pleasure" right...

@pz: good question - well it says you can record sound with the video recordings and in the gallery on the apple website, i do believe there is a mic visible on the bottom. so yeah, they weren't super stupid. for the sake of facetime and videos, we have a mic now - yay and whew!

@Brookespeed: don't apple's i devices only have assisted gps that rely on cel towers? so since ipod touches don't have a 3g antenna....

@Iis4island: if it did that, wouldn't it have eventually smashed into mars somewhere? so there would be another crater along that vector where the projectile finally stopped "skipping on the water" and cratered for good.

@sonny001: wow... that's really impressive writing for a game! now i'm kinda intrigued by mass effect when all other ad campaigns failed on me.

ron jeremy?

@Kakkoii: also, you're only exposed for a moment right? to make the exposure... this is like a full 10 seconds of continuous exposure....

@ArleenCabango: so if we're making a columbus movie there should be no attempt to find native american extras and you'd be fine seeing 6 foot nordic caucasians representing the conquered?

@ArleenCabango: "many folks screaming for 'color blind casting' are actually screaming for colored casting."

@casperiv: "Also, it tends to sound quieter in video because the sound is being projected away from the camera rather than toward. "

@Voldy1: lol.... "Nobody said suppressors aren't quiet under any circumstances. They just said that they are still loud. "

@Jeramy Bailey: right. and that's my point - it's not at all about stopping power or range or efficacy.

@Voldy1: right but my point is not at all about efficacy or stopping power or anything like that.

@Voldy1: i would imagine in indoor cqb situations it can be loud. but again, look at the youtube videos posted below. they can be QUITE quiet.

@Dr4c0n1k: "THIS. this is pretty much what I was trying to say the whole damn time."

this bit of mythbusting always seems to go too far in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
