@Dr4c0n1k: and to be perfectly clear -

@gargle: haha, well i'm not "incidentally asian" either. as applied to real life, i don't know what that would mean... : )

@Dr4c0n1k: (got out of bed to reply after seeing your post on ipod touch)

@jackkerouac: good question actually. the difference is the VIBE it gives off.

@Dr4c0n1k: gah... that's silly. how far do you want to take that line of reasoning?

right... why does her being asian have to be significant? why can't she be INCIDENTALLY ASIAN?

@Xyberfaust: i like this too. violation of it leads to the hyper bland product of hollywood that seeks to offend absolutely no one to get cash from absolutely everyone. if you have the economic freedom to be subversive, it's more interesting if you are.

@Serge.: yep... jibes with my take too... it's not just difference. it's right vs. wrong.

@Quilt: absolutely the right answer

hurm....

@phoghat: oh yeah... i can indicate time! hehe, it's 26 seconds in. and from shots immediately before and after, you know there is nothing green colored supposed to be there.

@imajoebob: most idiots are already conducting their phone convos so loudly that it is clearly audible to every sentient being within a 5 mile radius. and such devastatingly keening conversations are happening from street corners, shopping malls, movie theaters, places of work, church services, etc. - i don't think

what the hell.... in that first clip, there's a wide down shot where you can still make out the GREEN SCREEN on the top of the frame! sloppy as shit.

actually, i just hope there is an accurate depiction of yahweh commanding the isrealites to kill their enemies to the last man woman and child.... gotta be accurate after all

why this process instead of good ol' fashioned electroplating?

for fantasy art, you only have one rule - frank motherfing frazetta. period.

only the dry stuff ever held any credibility with me. lawrence of arabia, mad max beyond thunderdome. that stuff seems totally plausible and potentially deadly. everything else is just "deep mud" and you're far more inclined to float on top like a cork. yeah, mythbusters and a particular batman/superman team up

@Christopher Chiu-Tabet: actually, i took this as another sign of the weakness of the movie.... not sure if he seemed ESPECIALLY unconcerned but nonetheless, it was used as a threat device that required indy to grab a snake to get out of. in this post-mythbusters world, it was just eyerolling... everyone was just

zoom lenses people. don't rely on the sanity or good will of law enforcement. be free and claim your rights according to the law by never advertising the fact that you're filming. hide if you have to.

@ryoshi: that's what zoom lenses are for.
