It's a mistake to list The Knack. "Good Girls Don't" was actually all over the radio in 1979/80. Peaked at #11 in the US according to Wikipedia, and #1 in Candada. Not as dominating as "My Sharona", but a very good song and a hit.

Yeah maybe, but the nephew was totally railroaded.
How about for seeing it IN THE THEATER during its initial release?
Tie:
Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects starring Charles Bronson.
Man Trouble starring Ellen Barkin & Jack Nicholson. That one we walked out of.
when Bourne fights that one agent in the small apartment and stabs him in the hand with a pen. I remember a lot of cuts, but it wasn't at the expense of choreography as you can still tell what's going on and the cuts actually helped make the fight feel rough and gritty.
Honestly it was the shitty Bourne Follow Up, directed by Paul Greeengrass, that started the obnoxious jump-cutting trend. The first one, The Bourne Identity, directed by Doug Liman, remains amazing.
Seriously cute.
I've always loved Ringo's (and George's) song "It Don't Come Easy".
Where the fuck do I find THIS?!?!?
A lot of the musicians were hopping from one of their houses to the other, and playing on each other's songs. There was a moment in 1970 or '71 when all the top songs on the rock chart, from All Things Must Pass and Derek & The Domino's etc etc, mostly had the same cast of actual musicians performing. So, to some…
"What Is Life" is one of the greatest rock songs of all time.
Ok good, thanks. Nothing for me to do here, I will move along.
:-)
Is there a reference in any of these comments, to the famous book from the 1970s that this episode may or may not take its title from?
"The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind"
It's all rather meta.
I've always liked Zach's reviews, since he did Star Trek TOS years ago, thus bringing me to this site.
Like Days of Thunder.
I remember seeing the trailer in the theater. Willis' line "Come out to the coast, have a few laughs" got a great response.
25 years ago is about when I first said it. Your mom probably got it from me.
His supporters are gonna be very confused on Nov 9th.
Sorry. :-(
Sorry, it's always been one of my favourite Bones quotes.
