I really hate how it played out, but i didn't like how it played out in the books either.. Being asked to care about yet another Baratheon heir at this stage of the game just felt ridiculous. … The whole thing just felt blindingly extraneous, like an excuse for us to have a sense of geography and some POV characters

Next year their stories or some semblance there of will probably be the focal points. It'd make sense to latch on to at least some book plot as it will be the first season with no backing in books

You don't need to put quotes around "brother." Rickon is Jon's brother.

t took an ENTIRE season – to get here. What a waste. Either follow the books or carve your own path: but do one or the other. Not both.

Now I don't really care what happens to Stannis.

Melisandre is a means to an end. He's not a fanatic.

There's an interesting spectrum in terms of stance toward Right and Wrong, represented by Stannis and Ned and Jon.

Um – Stannis has ALWAYS been an asshole.

Show Jon has shown no signs of being a warg. That would be out of left field I'd think.

Renly should have been King.

Arguably he should have ignored Davos and brought Melsandre to the battle at Blackwater Bay.

Well, I don't know if you're going to turn out to have been right or not, but that's a fucking excellent breakdown of the books.

As to the sewing bit, it is in the behind the scenes discussion with the Costume Designer. Sansa tends to make her own clothes, and you can chart her progression through her clothing.

3. Look at what Cersei does in that scene, versus what Sansa does.

Except there's a scene right after her scene with the Lords Declarant where he asks her *why* she saved

Although I guess if you read into Sansa's dress, some major transformation of character, that would explain why this storyline seems like such a regression.

I do remember quite plainly she called Littlefinger out, saved his ass in front of the Vale Lords Declarant, and yes, put on a dark dress with cleavage, just cause. … Not actually backing LIttlefinger up, but making up her own story to sways Lords Declarant.

Right. Arya has killed in self-defense or to escape. This guy is an assignment.

Aren't there men in the zombie genre who've failed to kill a zombified kid and then something bad happened due to that?

Sure. Provide a good explanation of how it makes narrative sense, and I will absolutely sign off on the Children of the Forest appearing in blackface next time. Or the Thenns, or whomever.
