Fuck me. Roger Sterling for Howland Reed or Mance or Nights King or Rhaegor or whoever. That would be epic.

Cersei's prophecy; and whoever wrests Kings Landing away from the Lannisters is not going to leave a Baratheon/Lannister "pretender" alive to trouble them years later. Robert/Tywin had all the Targaryon children put down (or tried to): same will happen with this batch.

Yeah – and Hardhome is happening in the books too, but offscreen (Cotter Pyke is there, not Jon).

they've already given Sansa more strength on the show than she has yet been given in the books.

But you can't have her go from Maleficent to helpless in a matter of seconds

This isn't Catelyn trading one brother for another. Do we really think if they treated her well, she would excuse it?

wonder how I would view this as Unsullied

the "Lana" sequence. It was easily overlooked in such an epic episode, but I really loved it. The setting, the editing, the entire presentation felt like a breath of fresh air

Exactly. They're not at all sea-worthy.

But she realizes, when Cersei advises her about being feared, that she would rather be loved.

These comments are all awesome. But how in the world has no one yet said: "It's all in the reflexes!"
??

That flotation is caused by gasses released during decomp, right? But "normal" decomposition is delayed or at least different in zombies.

I thought this as well. If Iceman of the X-men can do it….

Dead don't swim because no air in their bodies.

The Hound has an impact on Sansa, but Sansa's impact on the Hound is at least as profound. She reminds him of his own, long-buried idealism.

Disagree with this description. From the first the Hound knows which way is up in the cesspool that is the court at King's Landing, and Sansa is filled with childish ideas of Romance (cap R) and chivalry and knighthood. Sandor seems to have some conflicting feelings toward Sansa. At least: contempt for her

WE know differently. But his men don't! And Jon doesn't need to lead us, he needs to lead them. … he does not make his reasons clear. That's a failure of leadership.

winning a duel of ideals with the Hound

I think the two mutinies are significantly different, too.

seeing her be denied water if she doesn't confess is frustrating
